| The
focal point of student life in the institute
is the students’ association. It
represents the student body within the
institute, and acts as a centre for social,
sporting, and recreational activities.
In it’s representative roll the
association participates in formal decision
making process of the institute and represents
students at all levels. An important function
of student association is promoting many
various clubs and societies within the
institute.
Association also offering a range of activities
and forming an integral part of student
life at the institute. Some societies
are academic/subject related, encouraging
and fostering links within departments
between staff and students and specially
among students at all stages of study.
Any student can become a member of the
student association and is able to use
union facilities and take part in the
varied activities in the association.
